WP 3: Initiate local pilot work and culture guide courses,

The overall aim of WP3 is to prepare local pilot works with an exemplary local culture guide activity in at least one municipality by each partner

Key Activities

  1. Prepare plans for local pilot works with culture guide services
  2. Make presentation materials for main stakeholders
  3. Establish the local teams and initiate stakeholder networking
  4. Locate end-users and develop contact strategies
  5. Complete two culture guide courses (for facilitators and guides)
  6. Reports from initial project activities
  7. Publishing of presentation materials



WP 5: Complete pilot culture guide offerings,

April - Nov 2014


The overall aim is to provide a culture guide offerings to social marginalised seniors that can develop new knowledge, methods and examples of good practise in a Nordic - Baltic context.

Key activitiesy

  1. Prepare culture guide offerings with local project teams
  1. Network with local stakeholders on promoting and getting contact with the end-users
  2. Support the volunteer guides in their implementation of the diverse culture guide offerings
  3. Report the pilot project activities and exploit the results to main stakeholders.

This development project has been supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers' funding program for lifelong learning, Nordplus Adult, administered by the Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalisation (UI).

WP 7: Publish handbook on culture guide services, Jan – March 2015


The objectives are to present:

  • New methods to organise and facilitate culture guide activities
  • Good practise for training courses for volunteer guides
  • Good practise for networking with main stakeholders
  • Best practise examples in different areas of culture guide offeringsi
